| Trace Adkins to Appear in Independent Film |

 Trace Adkins can add independent film to the list of mediums in which he's appeared this fall when the singer takes a role in the upcoming independent film, "Lifted." Adkins will play Jimmy Know, a guest judge on an "American Idol"-like competition, "Teen Starquest." The movie focuses on a 12-year-old boy who auditions for the show when his father is sent back to Iraq. The film is currently being shot in Birmingham, Alabama and will also feature "American Idol" winner Ruben Studdard. It has an expected release date of September 2010. Adkins will also be filming a video for his single "All I Ask for Anymore" on Wednesday at Berry Field in Nashville, home of the Tennessee Air National Guard. The video will feature members of the Guard and soldiers from Fort Campbell, Kentucky. |
