Taylor Swift Wins Big at CMAs PDF Print E-mail
Taylor SwiftTaylor Swift could barely carry the four trophies she took home from last night's 43rd annual CMA Awards, chief among them the Entertainer of the Year prize.  At 19 years old, Swift is the youngest artist to receive the award.  The singer also took home Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, for her chart-topping Fearless, and Video of the Year.

"In this moment, everything that I have ever wanted just happened to me," she said, accepting the Entertainer of the Year award.  "The fans who come to the show with the shirts you've made for yourself and the look on your face, that's why I do this. Thank you for this moment."

Lady Antebellum surprised many by breaking Rascal Flatt's six-year hold on vocal group of the year in addition to winning single of the year for "I Run to You."

Vocalist Charles Kelley called out his competition in the category during their acceptance speech.

"Rascal Flatts, you've inspired us for such a long time. The Eagles, my gosh. ... Zac Brown has had the biggest year of all of us."

Darius Rucker took home the CMA's new artist award becoming the first black entertainer to do so.
